DR. GARTH CHRISTENSON
Garth Christenson, O.D. received his Doctor of Optometry from the Illinois College of Optometry in 1984. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Wisconsin at River Falls, and earned his Master of Science in Education from California State University at Fullerton. His fields of special interest include pediatric optometry, vision therapy, and specialty contact lenses.
Dr. Christenson says a career in optometry has offered him the best opportunity to apply his skills, knowledge, care, concern, and compassion while treating the vision needs of his patients, which can help them reach their full potential in life, work, and play.
Getting to know his patients’ interests and ambitions is one of Dr. Christenson’s favorite things about being an optometrist. By knowing his patients, he can help them appreciate what their precious gift of vision can mean in their everyday lives. In addition, Dr. Christenson says that seeing his patients on a regular basis over the years is like seeing old friends.
When he is not in the office treating patients, Dr. Christenson enjoys writing and spending time outdoors. His favorite outdoor activities include playing golf, fishing, hunting, and cross-country skiing.

DR. MICKI FLYNN
Micki Flynn, OD, FAAO, received her Doctor of Optometry from the New England College of Optometry in 2003, and completed her undergraduate studies in Neuroscience at the University of Rochester in New York. She completed her residency in pediatric optometry in 2004, became a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry (FAAO) in 2006, and was certified by the American Board of Optometry in 2014.
Dr. Flynn’s interest in becoming an optometrist began after working in a college research lab that was measuring visual recovery in stroke patients. During this time, she realized just how amazing the visual system is. Dr. Flynn particularly enjoys meeting and getting to know her patients and their families. Helping children with their vision problems become more successful by improving their eyesight and visual skills is a high priority for her.
In her free time away from the office, Dr. Flynn loves spending time with her husband and their son. She also stays active by hiking, skiing, and practicing yoga.

DR. GRIFFIN CHRISTENSON
Griffin Christenson, O.D. received his Doctor of Optometry from the Pacific University College of Optometry in 2021, and completed his undergraduate studies in Biology at the University of Wisconsin River Falls. His special fields of interest include vision and technology, vision therapy, and sports vision.
Dr. Christenson grew up in Hudson, Wisconsin, and always had a desire to serve the people in his community. The opportunity to help solve people’s vision problems attracted him to the field of optometry. Dr. Christenson says one of the highlights of his daily routine includes the interaction he has with his patients and staff in the practice.
When Dr. Christenson is not treating patients, he enjoys going on outings with his wife, and playing with their dog, Lambeau, and cat, Oliver. While he used to enjoy playing football, he is now strictly relegated to being a spectator. In addition, he is also working toward his Master of Science in Computer Science.
